January is Membership Month

January 24, 2020

It is membership renewal time again. Your membership supports Ashland Library programs and projects for all ages, from children’s story times to teen maker days to adult author talks, to summer reading for everyone. Two programs that began with Ashland Friends’ support—Babies First Books and Toddlerobics—have been so successful that they became part of Jackson County Libraries system-wide in 2019.

If you haven’t already renewed, download a form or renew online. Upon receipt of your renewal we’ll send you a 2020 membership card. Thank you again for your continued support!

2019 Author Fair a Success

January 24, 2020

The Friends of the Library co-sponsored and provided the volunteer team for the high-energy December 8, 2019, Local Author Fair. Special thanks to Friends Amy Blossom and Pat Fuhrman and Reference Librarian Amy Greenwald for their leadership and organizational skills, and to all the volunteers for their enthusiasm and help on the day of the fair.

Over sixty authors and 265 attendees enjoyed getting acquainted and talking books that afternoon. Here are a few snapshots of the day.
